Some of you who are spent by our home were able to see, in the state of origine, Bleuette that I present you here.

During more than eighteen months, I did not want to touch it, not wanting to remove her what, in my eyes at least, made all her interest and her charm : the formerly dusty flavor !

I felt indiscreet to intervene, to wash the very dirty face, to wash the very black lingerie, to clean the clothes, in brief, to deprive her dust of time which made that she was her and not the other one. It is all the interest to find dolls one owner which were not either gone back up or " improved ". Emotion and enjoyment which they arouse are unspeakable!

Le numéro du moule < 60 > n'est pas très visible sur cette photo, mais il existe bien.

Occupying me nevertheless little of her while leaving her in the heart of the box of packaging, I began so by dating her due to the outfit. Involving a mould 60-8/0 which lasted more than twenty years and the classic body - 2 between shoulders and 1 under feets-, only clothes, included lingerie, could enlighten me.

And at first this last one : set apart the closed trousers and the shirt which are realized in the hand according to "La Semaine de Suzette ", the corset and the " robe de dessous " called 'Jackson' are Gautier-Languereau's classic models and lasted many years. I note however on this last one the double flounce behind , elaborated and charming realization which disappeared in 1925. Where from, a first conclusion: my doll is so previous to this date.

Had she, or not, a dress Gautier-Languereau ? Maybe, but I do not think to consider it by the abundance of the delicious wardrobe completely realized from patterns of "La Semaine de Suzette". Let us not forget moreover that it was there the purpose of this kind newspaper, to learn to sew, to embroider or to knit to the small girls.

Robe Anglaise de 1911

This outfit reached until us is very interesting :

Three dresses: a "Robe Anglaise" of April 27, 1911 number 13, the other one " Dress of woollen garment embroidered " of January 11, 1912 number 50, a third " Alsatian's dress " of May 6, 1915 number 14, a coat " manteau-pélerine" of 1916-1er half a year p. 102-, a pair of boots of 1917 (2-nd half a year - p. 197), finally a pair of "American" stockings of 1905 (2-nd half a year p. 805).

Bottines de 1917

In conclusion, her dressing extending from January, 1911 till 1915, it is likely that the family of the small girl was subscribed to the Newspaper since debuts, what allowed the realization of the stockings' model of which is very previous ! But the Bleuette was in this family only from Christmas or New Year's gifts of 1910/11.

As you were able to read it, this one had everything for her, everything is of origin, wig - a little whacked! - cranial box, impeccable hands and charming. With time, the painting of the front of the body and of one leg tended to crumble off.

Manteau-Pelerine de 1916

I proceeded so to delicate retickings, not wanting to repaint her - in my opinion, it had been criminal-. The patches of paintings were strengthened with the liquid glue injected through the needle of a syringe.

A single matter missed her, lost in the course of time, her Alsatian's knot which I owed redo her to prove to her that she was definitively ours, as it is today her Province - what was not case at the time-. She is going finally to make the entrance to the XXI-th century after dozens of years of darkness and desolation.

N.B. -The white shoes which she wears higher were lent to her by another Bleuette and were not so a part of the outfit.

Besides, we respected the small hole in her ankle boots, a kind small mouse being spent there long ago---

It is all this, Bleuette, a long story, a magnificent outfit, one family live exceptional who makes her likeable...
